Full Moon + Self Care Rituals

The full moon represents a time of
fruition, ripening and illumination - feelings that invoke a sense of femininity.  While the new moon calls us to go inward to set intentions, the bright full moon inspires and energizes.

Taking time for self-care in conjunction with natural cycles (seasonal/ lunar) can help align our bodies and spirits, quiet the unnecessary   noise that clouds our mind, and let go of what is no longer serving us. Below is a one of my favorite simple self-care rituals to do on the night of a full moon, such as tonight!

Restorative Mask and Soak

  • Make a paste with our Organic Botanical Facial Polish, by mixing any of the La Lune Apothecary Hydrosols instead of water. This crushed botanical blend sloughs off dead skin cells, removes impurities, treats acne, repairs tissue & is truly nourishing for all skin types!
  • Massage into face, stimulating blood circulation to the surface of the skin.
  • For oily or blemish prone skin, leave facial polish on to transform into mask for a few minutes.
  • After face is cleansed, begin to draw bath.
  • While in the bath, use the Organic Cardamom Cacao Coffee Salt Exfoliant Soak. Take a tablespoon or two of the salt mixture and massage your entire body, working upward from your feet. Organic Fair Trade Coffee treats inflammation and improves circulation, which reduces the appearance of cellulite.
  • After exfoliating entire body, begin to soak in the  tub while the remaining salt dissolves in the water. Dead Sea Salt contains high levels of magnesium & other critical minerals that help combat stress, fluid retention, & muscle soreness.
By exfoliating face and body with intention, your skin should feel soft and moisturized. You have physically and mentally shed what no longer serves you, and have culminated all you have learned and experienced in this moon cycle.
Cheers to another 28 days!
